Two SFL Scientific Research Achievements Win Awards
Recently, the results of the 9th Outstanding Scientific Research Output Award (Humanities and Social Sciences) in Colleges and Universities were officially announced. The selection was reviewed by experts, publicized to the public, and reviewed and approved by the award committee, and a total of 1,496 achievements were awarded (including the award-winning achievements of universities in Hong Kong and Macao).
32 achievements from Shanghai Jiao Tong University have won awards, including 2 achievements from the School of Foreign Languages winning the second prize in the category of works and papers.
The Outstanding Scientific Research Output Award (Humanities and Social Sciences) in Colleges and Universities is organized and selected by the Ministry of Education, aiming to commend and reward the outstanding achievements of philosophy and social science workers in colleges and universities, to showcase the major theoretical and practical achievements of the social science community in colleges and universities in serving the development of the cause of the Party and the country, and to promote colleges and universities to accelerate the construction of philosophy and social sciences with Chinese characteristics. Established in 1995, the award is selected every three or four years, and has been successfully selected for nine times, and is currently the highest award for humanities and social science research in domestic universities, with recognized influence and representation.
The excellent achievements of the School of Foreign Languages in this year's selection are not only a recognition of the excellent achievements of the award-winning teachers, but also an affirmation of the overall discipline construction level of the school. The School will take this award as an opportunity to continue to do organized scientific research, promote academic research to make greater breakthroughs, and make unremitting efforts to build a first-class foreign language discipline.
